Hi Guys, I am living in Portugal and unfortunately live in a new apartment block. This means I cannot use a Sky dish to get UK Channels. If this beta tes becomes available for expats to use so we can get BBC and ITV etc then please let me know as I would be very will to help in the beta stages.

You could always try http://zattoo.com/ limited channels, but quality streams.

Although you need to register to get the download link, have you tried googling Zatto Download, I believe you can get this from various sources. I actually got mine via the proper channels some time ago, but it may be worth a shot.

DaverRobo, I managed to download the Zattoo software here in the US but I need a login password and username. The website won't let me register to get one cause of where I'm at. Any idea how to get around this?

Sorry, I'm not sure on this, you could maybe try a UK proxy, although I'm no expert on this - several other members may be better suited to offer help.

Hmm !

Managed to register using a UK e-mail address but they put you on a waitlist
saying they will e-mail you when you can log in !

Anyone know if they will reply ? Someone here said that they have been waiting 2months or so

I stand to be corrected, but i think the answer is no.

Not as far as I can see, anyway. I live in Switzerland, I have a fast mac and internet connection, and if I would rather be watching german soaps and BBC World hysteria about how shit russians and iranians are than football, i would be stoked.

But i would not. So I am not stoked.

We have maybe thirty channels here in Switzerland, and I spent the whole of the super sunday games flicking through them, searching for premier league action like a freak.

Fuck Zattoo.

Got my invite today, totally forgot about applying for this quality streams hoping they add more channels in 2008 as they say in e mail, limited at moment

You’ve been among the lucky few so far to test Zattoo in the UK. We’re going to change that now. As of today, the Zattoo beta is open to everybody on the British Isles.

You will notice that the channel lineup for the public beta is different to the channel lineup that you have had the opportunity to test over the last couple of months. We have added a number of exciting new channels, but have also had to temporarily remove certain channels due to licensing issues.

We are working hard to bring back those channels as well as add even more to the next release which is planned for early 2008.

In the meantime, we hope that you continue to enjoy Zattoo. If you do, please spread the word and tell your friends. If you like it, they will too!
