Yeah luke chadwick was pretty average but i still would'nt put him in the worst category, he did show glimpses of his talent at united and like terry cooke and jonathan greening type players he played ok when shipped out to other teams. By the end of the season i could be putting anderson into this thread, for the game time hes got he hasnt produced, big let down in my opinion.

I think the only real problem with Nani is when Fergie plays him on the left. When he's starting on the right he's fantastic and causes teams alot of problems. He was on fire before he got red carded toward the 3/4 mark of last season. When he starts on the left i think he cuts into evra's attacking runs into the box and the two together don't work. Seems to be finding his goal scoring form now which will complete him - he's certainly got the skills. Anderson - well he's shown glimpses here and there. I guess it's hard playing in the shadow of Scholes after all these years - he's still quality the ginger minger. I don't think he's the worst player ever but Bartez made me very nervous - Veron was way overpriced and contributed fuck all really.
There has been a few dodgy Arsenal ones. I remember George Graham signing John Jensen on the strength of one goal he scored for Denmark. I remember the tabloids running a centre page double spread about him finally scoring for Arsenal. He was fooking useless, looked like a porn star aswell. You can throw Glen Helder into that aswell, Cygan, Stepanov, Luzhny to name just a few.
Milton Nunez, we paid around £600,000 for this "Honduras" International centre forward who was allegedly a diminutive 5ft 5in goal machine.
He was actually 4ft 11" ( I'm not kidding check him out on Google) and useless. He came on as sub against Wimbledon , you can imagine Wimbledon with the likes of Hartford, Jones and all their big guys putting high balls around the pitch and our striker is a midget!
There was a photo in the local newspaper when he arrived at the club, he was surrounded by 11 year old autograph hunters who towered over him!
He was quickly shipped back home.
Probably Mido for us due to the fact of his bad attitude and how much he ended up costing the club. Also off the top of my head Phil Whelan (had the audacity to say 'do you know who I am?' when out on the lash!) and Hamilton Ricard were shite and Branco was overweight most of his stay here. I think Mido is top though the fucking useless lazy arsehole greasy fat bastard ****!
Speaking of Mido I've just found this. Go to 1:15 in and watch in awe of this superstar striker lol!
Yeah very true begbie, its a shame about forlan as he is quality like. I remember reading an article about him after he went to villareal where Harry 'Wheeler Dealer' Redknapp said he seen the video of him made by his agent for potential clubs and said he would have signed him too as he was clinical infront of goal.

Not my team and certainly not amongst their worst players, but........ my Man U supporting mates called Diego Forlán, 'Diego Birtles'.
Two very disappointing United careers in their opinions. Both tried hard but....
Funny thing about Forlan, and I have to check the stats, but, during the 02-03 season, Ruud had a small niggle that kept him out for couple weeks. Forlan replaced him for a couple league games and as he was playing the carling cup games anyway, he ended up on a run where he started or came off bench in 11 games. And I think he scored 8 goals in that period, including a crucial winner against Chelsea in the league. That was the only bright period for him really. We maybe should have persevered with him considering he became a top player. He's held in the highest regard over here, even more since the world cup.

He scored 2 and won the game against Liverpool during his time. Forlan was nowhere near the worst United player.
Not entirely gone through the thread but does noone remember that guy that Southampton bought said to be the next George Weah or some such; think Souness bought him, and he was a total plum. Got subbed on, then subbed off and was then sold or released.
Surely that ranks as the worst - unless he was free. Even then, still pretty terrible.
