Your teams worst ever player?

Hey guys and gals. Who in your opinion is the worst player to play for your club and why? Please give a reason. I'll set the ball rolling.

Halfway through tHe 1995 - 1996 season (the one united won the double with kids!!), United had a bit of a defensive crisis. On 1st january 1996 with pallister, bruce and irwin unavailable, United went to spurs with Gary Neville and WILLIAM PRUNIER as the centre halves. Prunier had arrived at OLd Trafford the previous week. Eric Cantona had recommended William to the gaffer as a temporary measure to alleviate the sudden defensive injury crisis. "I played with him at Auxere" said Eric. "He's top class".

Prunier actually played a cameo role the week before against QPR and didn't look half bad, but that was QPR. At home.

What took place that night at the lane will live long in the memories of those there that witnessed it. Pruniers performance is best compared to what would happen if you or I were thrown a jersey by the gaffer, taken out of the crowd and made to play premier league football in a pair of jeans and slip on shoes!! Oh, and marking Teddy Sheringham, Chris Armstrong etc. He was a disgrace. For a minute I thought he was a double agent, then I realized he was really that shit. Luckily for him the opta stats hadn't been invented then. He couldn't pass, couldn't stand up straight, head the ball, anything. Spurs won 4-1, Eric got docked a months wages for being stupid and the following morning prunier went home. Gary Neville had to go to counselling he was so shocked! Worst player to play for united in my lifetime. Thankfully, United went on to complete the double despite his best or should i say worst efforts

i could post loads - but that lad is the same age as me and i played against him before he went to celtic - he was a decent enough youth player but I swear once he signed for celtic he must have ate at least a meal for 2 every night

he was huge

he is also Leeds Utd Eddie Gray's bhoy so should becoming from a footballing stock

Van der Meyde was awful but my personal worst was Brett "Hitman" Angell. Bought by that managerial genius Mike Walker .. he had 19 matches and scored a magnificent 1 goal. Even bloody Bakayoko managed more!!!

Didn't help that he was bought to replace Tony Cottee too .. but he really was sh*te.

So crap that can't even find a picture of him with an actual football

There's been a few at 'pool. The one that springs to mind is a Roy Evans free signing, a south African I think..... Sean Dundee. Never really saw him play but what I did see, he didn't look very mobile and reminded me of someone in a school team who took ages to accelerate.

You could probably pick several players Souness signed but I'd have to go and look them up, quite a few were stinkers though.

And I have to mention El Hadj Diouf. What was Gerard Houllier thinking when he signed that waste of space? Not very good and a very dislikeable player too.

Luke Chadwicks gotta be on that list as well Barry, but I'm sticking with William Prunier, for the spectacular fuck ups against spurs which led him to be sent back to France. Even though Wikipedia alleges he was offered a contract??

What happened was after he was safely back in France, to spare his blushes, Fergie said he'd asked him to stay.

Probably Mido for us due to the fact of his bad attitude and how much he ended up costing the club. Also off the top of my head Phil Whelan (had the audacity to say 'do you know who I am?' when out on the lash!) and Hamilton Ricard were shite and Branco was overweight most of his stay here. I think Mido is top though the fucking useless lazy arsehole greasy fat bastard ****!
