When I was a kid, we had to buy our own sweeties.
I think Deadly missed the Celtic reference in the next programme.

The paedo connection with Celtic is a matter of fact and a matter of embarrassment for Celtic. Are you comparing the Celtic Boy's Club affair with the Ibrox disaster? Are you saying that Rangers should feel embarrassed about the Ibrox disaster?
Two non-comparable topics.

It is also a matter of fact that for many years rangers would not sign a player because of his religion,is this not a matter of embarrassment for rangers. My point is that anyone can make jokes about opositions teams but some jokes just go a wee bit to far.Just my opinion

I'm assuming that the 'Rangers would not sign a player because of his religion' bit comes from a book by Bill Murray. It is a load of nonsense.
A player who was good enough to play for Rangers was also good enough to play for Celtic and vice versa. It is natural that Protestants signed for Rangers and Catholics signed for Celtic. Both clubs had a sectarian background and following. Back then there wasn't a lot of money in the game so people signed up with the team that they had supported when they were weans.
The first time that I was at Parkhead (early 1980's), I couldn't help noticing that the flags of every country that Celtic had played in were flown, except the Union Flag. Right in the middle of the stand they flew the Basque flag. It looks a bit like a Union Jack but was more widely known as the symbol of the ETA, a brutal terrorist organisation.
All I'm trying to say is that people in glass houses...

... and should phone Autoglass if they get a chip. (Normally replaced for free under your current insurance without affecting your no-claims bonus).

Famous quote from jock stein says it all " if i see two players with the same qualityand 1 is a protestant andthe other 1 is a catholic i would sign the protestant because i know rangers wont sign the catholic. You are really trying to kid yourself on if you believe that this was not a policy of rangers back in the the day.I am glad that they no longer have that policy as any ones religion should not come in it.As for the basque flag i see nothing wrong it as it not just used by eta,it is symbol for basque nationalist party. As for union jack it has been used by other terrorist organisations which i know i dont have to tell you,so are you saying rangers should not dispay the union jack at ibrox because it has been used by terrorists.
This is my point from the start, what does a celtic fan say to rangers fans after the ibox disaster, mind yer step. Now i think this is out of order but this is my point that some jokes go a wee bit to far.

Talking of peados I was going into Boots the other day and some woman with a clipboard came up to me and asked if I wouldn't mind answering some marketing questions.
What are your 3 favourite grooming products? she said.
I said Facebook, sweeties and puppies.

I've got a sick sense of humour. I liked that.
Most jokes can be turned around, just by changing the religion or team. I can't think how to 'turn' that one.
The only other joke that I know that can't be 'turned':
Q - What's the difference between an orange and an apple?
A - You've never met an apple bastard.
