is it possible to play xbox original games on the 360?

and if yes

what do i have to do?

some of them yes. you can check on the xbox website as to which ones are compatible :

as far as what you have to do, nothing, they just may need an update to play.

Just wondered if anyone can answer this question.I have two 360,s .1 is flashed and 1 is,nt .I use the unflashed 360 with xbox live and the other i play copied games on. Question is .If i install a copied game to the HDD.Then put it on other console would i be able to go live with it .Or would it get flagged as a copy .Just like it would if i played the live on the flashed console.

Hope ive put this across so people can understand.

Yeah i think you can, but beware of any 'updates', system or otherwise as these are what will compromise the system.

Such as this one that is due

There must be plenty of 360 forums out there that will tell you the score exactly mind.

Yeah sorry Big Dan. Basically what i need to know is.Instead of playing copied discs and risk being banned from xbox live.Would they know if the copied game was installed on the HDD .Or would it still appear to be copy

Im installing Woods 10 now. And i,ll give it whirl . If i get banned i,ll just say i bought the HDD from somewhere like cashconverters. And how was i supposed to know that the game on it was from a copy

In order to play games that are installed on the HD, you still need the original disk in the xbox to play... it reads somethin off the disk and then uses the installed game. Dunno if that would still be a problem in your case...

Yeah ive just found that out

Looks like im back to buying the 2games a year that i play live.And just using my flashed 360 for the other stuff.It was worth a try anyway.

Think i underestimated Mr Gates.He,s quite clever is,nt he !

I'm sure the latest flash has a fix for that very problem...
