Why did Suarez leave South America?

I've got a theory about why Suarez left South America.

It is all because of the Roman Catholic church. Catholics aren't allowed to eat meat during Lent (nor sometimes on Fridays depending on your local bishop's opinion).

In the early days of Christianity in South America this wasn't accepted. To make things easier the Church declared that the capybara was a fish because it lived in the water, so was edible for Catholics at any time. It isn't. It is a type of beaver.

Suarez is on the menu.

According to the bible, beaver comes in many forms and colours, and it has a distinctive aroma....mmmmm.

Interesting question. How many of each type of animal did God tell Noah to get on board?
