When did you first know you could watch free football

Got ripped off by someone called Cyprus years ago, think it was £2 to join and I donated about £20.Can't remember what site it was now,footballlinks.com or something? I then moved into a shared place where sky was installed so didnt bother with stremas but now I live on me lonesome have come back to it.

I was with FLF for about 12 months... never bothered to post owt there really. Paid my fiver like many others and then watched the sitcom that was 'The Cypriot and his mysterious car crash' unfold. That farce of a story ran for a while until the honourable Scuddley took the bull by the horns and set up what we have now... and what a great job he did too.

Times have been difficult for the site recently for all sorts of reasons.... but whatever the future holds... it's been a fantastic ride... where else can you get service like you you get here.... genuinely free... and without ads of any kind.

I'll tell you where..... NOWHERE.

Respect to all the guys who have made this project work over the years.... you know who you are!

i was lucky i found this place very early on, and i never payed to watch streams. i joined fsi on the 29-01-2006 . i didn't post much but i learned very quickly how to find streams myself and started to post streams in feedback.i soon realized i was spending hours finding links to post in feedback and was asked by sharky to become a mod.i was so made up thinking i could be a part of a on-line site with the same standards and ethos as my beliefs. free football for all.the rest has been a honor learning how to do it and try to teach others. even though iv sounded off at the workload its a drug you get it and you cannot let it go. long live fsi and world cup here we come.

Strewth Burdock it looks as though you are about to start something with your last post,with the read in between the lines people,but back to the original post like a few others on this site I was ripped off by a certain person,but due to the posts by other members of his site who where looking for answers to his disappearance due to a "Car Accident" I was given this site to get for free what I was looking for and I haven't looked back since that was in 2005,5 years have gone and it is by far still the best "does what it says on the tin"sites for free footy,Well Done to those who make the point of providing us with the links to follow our respective teams....

For me, it was ebay. Paid 1.99 to some 'two bob' for a load of links - can't think for the life of me what prompted me to search for free footie. Anyway, I'm sure I either paid £1 or £1.99 (a 'special' offer I believe) to our absent friend from Cyprus - got almost a year out of FLF (oh the irony!) then he did his runner (October 05?) ..... I was a bit stranded for a bit until Pepsisi dropped by and told everyone who was still posting in what was left of the forum about this place. That was about November 05 I think.

Things have improved dramatically since then, and thanks to everyone here who makes it possible

I paid a pound to soccerstreams.com I think it was called and watched a crappy 142 kbps stream for a few months. Bought a tv card and decided to do it myself for free pre-fsi due to having a huge upload on the original chinese coolstreaming(not the crappy italian pish that followed) and then as an official channel on sopcast v1..link sites then started, the rest they say is history.

I paid £4.95 to webfooty.com in early 2007. After a few months my password failed to work. I eventually Googled free football and found this great site. I registered but didn't post for a while but once I had I found members to be friendly and very helpful which is why I donate more than I was paying to the other lot. Thanks for all the links and help and long may FSI continue.

Strange things forums , it was flf which i first joined i just couldnt remember the name of it aye and cypus the fecker haha .Give him his due he made a few quid as did a lot of other people . He just failed badly after in his footy sites ,shame.You have to admit it sometimes ,if you could make a few quid out of total stangers being thick you would . My mate still pays pays 20 quid to get his pc formatted The hardest thing about forums is getting accepted and people talking and sharing info with you. I was lucky with this one i found 1 link and got a pm off admin asking me if i wanted to be a linkfinder ! 2 bans and a few infractions later i still cant leave or let the fooker go . Loads of good people on here alltho temperamental ****s their hearts in the right place .After therapy i can now say i am allso one of them , and i have cirtificates that say im of sane body and mind .Fuckin hate domestos and pine surface cleaner

I think I did the ebay thing too, had a link to this site if I remember correctly. I recall something about a Cypriot fella getting slated a lot but was still finding my feet at the time on the site so wasn't really sure what was going on with him and I still don't lol! Also an appeal was sent out for members to donate to keep the site up and running (bandwidth or something?) so I chipped in with a fiver ha ha! I remember a pepsi or a pepsis or someone, some Everton fan was a mod but can't remember the name. I joined in October 2005 but have been away from the site for a bit and just dipped in now and again but have vowed to try and watch more footy this season so hope to become more regular on here. How do you find out what number member you are as October 2005 seems to be when this site took off?
