When did you first know you could watch free football

Just wondering when people first became aware of being able to watch football free on the net .For me it was about 6 years ago , i fget the name of the site now tho i paid i think 3.99 or summit to join it. in the end it turned out to be a rip off for a lot of people but at the time it did the job and i was made up with it . Things have moved on a lot since then so im a nosey fucker and want to know , when where and did you do it or not

Probably about 2002-paid 1.99 for links on ebay-didn't see much footy but did see snooker, motor racing etc so wasn't too bad.

I saw an ad somwhere that promised free download sites to watch football, movies etc, might have been on Ebay. Two quid I think it cost me. Bit of a swindle really but through it I was introduced to a certain Free Football Streaming site run by a Cypriot I think. Rumours/jokes were he ran a Rolls Royce! Anyway he er eventually scarpered somewhere with the dosh I think. I'm sure there are longer and better memories on this site about those years! But the good thing that came out of it for me and I am sure many other people is the introduction to free football and streaming software in general. I've learnt a lot from all this and am still learning. I can find my way about now...a bit anyway when FSI went off air, but would not mind knowing more about link finding in general. But all this must have started about 2003 for me and I was trying to watch footie on dialup speeds. The time difference here takes a bit of the gloss off watching football now, but the Champions Cup matches are great at this time of the year, 0645 is not bad and any similar late matches. But at the end of March or thereabouts it becomes a bit of a bind again with 9 hours time difference instead of 11 hours. Though then you can pick up early matches at 2100 to 2300 etc. I remember lots of names on here from those days and I dont really understand why the site has declined so much, I recommend it to all people I meet who are interested in football or other sports which you often provide links for. For instance I watch tennis through the links you have given and sometimes cricket although some of the Indian Sopcast links are compromised! I have to say that many people are worried about the security of streaming sites and are therefore put off using it.

In short i heard about free footy about 3-4 years ago from someone passing in the shop,i never even been on the internet up untill october 2007 [my dad signed me to fsi after he seen it on the free footy/ads page when looking for free footy-he set everything up for me,altho sharky told me my dad said he put i was 17 on it,when i am now 30],[there was the usual pay 4-10 pound to get free footy but i said no to my dad],once i was certain you could get free footy etc that was me set to go,i brought a cp for the footy,to make cds,free films etc,still let him download the programmes like tvu or sop etc as i dont want to stuff something up somewhere,
my first everton game on the net was a cracker Portsmouth 0 Everton 0 in november/dec 07

Guess i got lucky - i did a google search for free football streaming and got this place - had no idea how it worked and honestly in the back of my mind i thought it was a load of shit but waited out the 24 hrs - read all the stuff they said to read and a day later was watching Sopcast. Never looked back.

ok when did i start it would be about 7 years ago i think about 6 months to a year before joining here
had heard of streams but like everyone else knew little of them ,finally got internet and found one of our cypriot fiends sites a fiver to get 2 working streams in 2 months ,was about to call it a day on the idea and saw another add for �2 promising all i needed to watch live football ,films etc decided one last punt wont do any harm ,well what i got was a word document with links to RTV and the ever popular 28k realplayer streams from luxembourg ,a few adult channels and 1 film channel ,but they also had a link to 3 sites which i may find usefull ,1 was dead ,1 was a poor link site now gone and the other was some strange ramshackle of a forum called fsi or something like that

clicked on here registered and downloaded a few players (sop ,pplive and ppstream) clicked a link and jumped up and down like a kid at christmas as within 10 seconds had a good quality (for then) stream of a match ,the rest as they say is history

i'd bounced around a few pay sites without much success so searched for FREE football and eventually came across this site, registered and started watching footy that was in 2006

Google took me to FLF, paid my membership, watched 2 United pre-season friendlies then Cyprus did his disappearing act. Found out that some of the old crew had set up this place, signed up (14.10.05 & 8th member according to the member list), the rest is history!

First site i tried was this one just over 3 years ago.Thought it was too good to be true and a bit dodgy.

Turned out good though. Saying that the quality of streams and choice has just got better and better.
Have looked at others but its the members and the banter that makes it No1.
Everyone has always helped each other .

One day I thought I'd google something like "watch free football online" and eventually I got here, one of the very few sites that offer free football online.

I couldn't post or anything for the 1st 24 hours but by randomly looking at the sports channels on tvu I found the Arsenal game, I think it was Arsenal v Bolton, not 100% on that though.

Tried many times to find football on the net, paid someone on Ebay �1.99p for info I did'nt understand & gave up. Years later tried again googled football streaming & eventually ended up here. I will donate every time this site needs money, its the best!
