No doubt Platini and slack bladder think this is all ok. I mean its not as though Cesc is a player under any sort of contract and Wenger is refusing to sell him. All this public form of tapping up is all ok from Barca.
Surely Wenger must look at some of this as the final straw and start complaining to FIFA or UEFA.
Bollocks, that is hilarious. Just a bunch of mates havin' a laugh.
Its as funny as James Cordon.
For starters I don't know why Riena is deciding to put his nose into, what he should surely knows is, a delicate position (Unless he is wanting to impress the Barca chiefs). Not just for the fans but Cesc aswell, who seemed well embarrassed about it all. They showed huge disrespect to Cesc and Arsenal.
And why is Pique and Puyol wanting to highjack a celebration for Spain and make it all about Barcelona. These three seem to have the comedic nous of Jasper Carrott.
It all well and good when supporters from other clubs don't mind but imagine if Rooney was forced to put on a Madrid top after months of tapping ups or if Messi wore the Madrid top, they would be screaming blue murder.

Personally, once I saw Reina's involvement, I saw it as a Catalan celebration and not really a FC Barcelona thing.
I've always thought, though, if the lad wants to go back to his boyhood club, in a region where he was born and raised, let him go. His heart's obviously not at Arsenal and constantly rejecting speculation and saying he's worth a King's ransom isn't going to make his natural feelings change.
At the end of the day, he's a proud Catalan and when he looks back on his career, he'll more likely talk about his days at Barcelona (if he's allowed to return) than he will about Arsenal.
Barcelonas behaviour has been shameful from start to finish with all this Barca dna bollox from a different player every day for the last month, Guardoila announcing he went to the Spanish camp to talk to him, the shirt crap-it all adds up to the most open and admitted tapping up EVER and yet Platini says fuck all!

When it comes to barcelona, all i ever think about is the 2006 champions league final. A useless team which hacked Henry for 90 minutes, think Henry said it best after the final whistle when he said he wouldnt join a bunch of cheaters (or something along them lines).
Arsenal were the better team with 11 men, just unfortunate (and thats football) that lehmann got sent off and we had to change shape, formation and tactics.
Also dont know where poeople are saying Barcelona and Spain are total footballing sides with magnificent passing and moving. Spain were average at a dire world cup, didnt see any beautiful football from them at all, baring a few individual efforts by Villa. As for barcelona, any time i've seen them play recently its more a case of give the ball to messi on halfway line and he'll do the rest, whether thats running past everyone and scoring or setting it on a plate for someone else. Very very good player, but doesnt do anything for there total football reputation that the whole team is passing and moving.
I am too young to remember the Dutch and Ajax the true masters of total football (apparently) but i was there watching and screaming for Arsenal players to shoot, when the team was playing intricate passes in the penalty box, which to me is a hell of a lot more passing and moving and team brilliance than a xavi long ball or through ball and another player finishing it off.
Wenger is right, Fabregas is better off with a better footballing club (Arsenal).
Has he even thought about where he is going to play? With busquets, xavi, iniesta and pedro all above him in the spanish team (who knows why) does he want to go sit on the bench? Also Barcelona just took out a massive loan to pay the players' wages, dont know how they can afford to buy players when they cant even pay what they got.

Thats all well and good but there has never been an interview where Cesc has said that he wants to leave Arsenal now. The question that caused all this was "IF you WERE to leave Arsenal, where would you go?" then he replied that he would only go to Barcelona. He has never said he wanted to leave Arsenal now, and if anything they has been more reports on him wanting to stay than they was of him wanting out. All the gossiping has been done by the club presidents (old and new) and the players. Xavi and Pique, in particular, having the massive problem of keeping their mouths shut.
Considering that Arsenal have released statements that he is not for sale, Wenger has personally spoken to Cesc and has then rejected offers and reiterated that he isn't for sale adds up to me that Cesc isn't going. And as for saying that we are asking a kings ransom for him is nonsense, Cesc has a long contract at Arsenal, young and already one of the best CM in Europe, all we are asking is a fair market price. I think most people on here would agree that in todays market Cesc is worth more than £30 mill.
The whole club shirt thing has riled me a bit, the same would no doubt be felt by anyone whos star playing is being tapped up (Suzie and Ronaldo). If it was done at a private function and leaked out I would have seen the funny side of it. But the fact that they decided to do it in front of the world media just smacks of an alterer motive and to be honest at this point I've had enough of listening to Barca blatantly trying to tap up Cesc through media outlets. Barcelona have conducted business really badly in recent months, trying to broker a deal in public isn't the best way to do things.
Sod this I have had enough of ranting about this, needless to say I'm a bit fed up with Barca but quietly confident Cesc will stay anyway (very quiet).

I do too, he's been a credit to the premier league and a damn good ambasador for Arsenal whatever happens!
I think it's funny.... like mike says.... his mates are having him off large... and he looked mortified to me. A joke... pure and simple... orchestrated by Reina by the looks.
I think Fabregas is a great player btw.

Useless bunch of cunts...
ok, i'll bite......
the 2006 champions league final, Lehmenn was sent off after 18 minutes, so how you can claim you were the better side is beyond me, the game was far too early to tell.
as for mr Henry saying that he wouldn't join "a bunch of cheaters" as you put it......errrr......who did he play for up until yesterday again?
next for arsenal being the better footballing side i seem to recall you getting torn apart in the nou camp last season.
and as somebody said earlier it looked much more like a catalan celebration, there were red t-shirts being handed out to certain players too and i remember thinking at the time that must be a catalan thing and the barca shirt was an exstension of that, it was blatently a few mates having a laugh.
Henry did actually say that and he singled Puyol out as the worst he had ever played against. If it was a Catalan thing it was like a fart in a spacesuit as it took place in Madrid.

doesn't stop them being proud of where they come from, i'd wear an England shirt in Scotland

Not really, pires was taken off, and at the time, arsenal and pires were playing well. I just use my knowledge that we still held our own with 10 men, with 11 i think we would have slaughtered them.

Barcalona... thats what he said though, just like fergie said he wouldnt sell a virus to madrid. I just used the quote as an example of how dirty barcalona were/are.

We got tore apart by messi, who in his own brilliance was very lucky, but thats football. As for better footballing side, we have definitely taken a step down over the past few years. I dont think barca or spain play pretty football tho, they have the passing but no movement, unless messi decides to do it all on his own.

i think thats just about covered it.
To my knowledge barcalona are in catalan, but are not the be all and end all of being catalonian (that right?) so to bring them up is just a couple of big headed cunts being as funny as aids. Dont even know why reina was invloved, he has nothing to do with barcalona, just probably trying to lick ass.
Still doesnt cover the point of were Fabregas is going to fit into this barca team... if he goes
