The file I posted is the one to copy into your program files/uusee/ directory. Read the ReadMe file in the zip, try it, and tell me if it works. I've had some negative feedback, more positive feedback, but I just want to see if the thing works.

The actuall link for uusee on first post worked for me but when i tried to use it it just never loaded so i tried the direct website link which worked but had the google bar trouble. Now uninstalled it all and reinstalled again (without google bar) from main uusee site then used your link and heh presto english channel list on number 82, like the fsi touch, thanks again

Cheers for the feedback Jake. That's the sort of stuff I need.

To other people, I need feedback, good and bad, to see if UUSee is worth putting any more effort into.

I haven't put a lot of effort into UUSee links in the past. If they came in (or didn't) it didnae worry me too much. UUSee seem to have picked their game up a wee bit recently so they deserve consideration.

hi,
have just followd all this, but don't get a box with (82)- I get (597) (842) (0) and (1)... it may be because channels are offline I guess. In the bottom one, (1), there is a footballstreaming.info file.... Just to give you feedback. Cheers for your help.

The 597 and 842 are right, the 1 is your 'history' ie channels you have tried.

Did you follow the instructions in the read.me file to the letter, including the download and completely closing down UUSee? What is the exact path to your uutv_my.xml file?

It seems to be working for some people, so the problem can't be too difficult to fix if I can get my head around what's actually going wrong.

To be honest for me i cant find the 82 channels that are in one area. I can only get the link when i click it from the streams section on this site. Then they appear in english.

yep, I've just checked I did everything as it said. the path of is c:/program files/uusee/uutv.my.xml ... I'm using Vista which I seems to do more harm than good, so that might be the problem...

I've just clicked through one of the links on the site and it works, so don't worry. I just thought the feedback might be useful- thanks as always for the amazing efforts of this site.

Cheers for the feedback Mr N. I can't put my finger on the reason for it working for some and not for others. Maybe it is a Vista thang.

Personally, I find it easier to select the channel manually from the list. That way I can see 'signal strength' and know if there's any point in me wasting time waiting.

I haven't come across that, but see if there's a program called pinme or something similar that you can uninstall via the control panel. It gets rid of the toolbar that some people end up with, so might work for what you're getting.

Maybe it's the menu for your way home from the pub tonight.

At least your English channel list should still be there. I never got the Chinese thing but I don't even know if it's worth putting any effort into. In general, it looks like a heap of undependable keech.

Edit: Have you got a shawl?

Details of installation and viewing instructions, application download and an English channel channel list for UUSee in the bottom half of the PPMate/UUSee page here. You shouldn't get any Chinese toolbars etc installed if you follow this guide.

ESPN Taiwan etc are available so it might be worth a try for those having difficulty with TvAnts.

Please help! I downloaded UUSee and it deleted all of my pictures and videos on my Desktop!! Does anyone know if I can somehow get those pictures/videos back? Do I have a virus now or was it just the UUSee program? Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Click start> all programs> accessories> system tools> system restore and do a restore to yesterday or a recent point BEFORE you installed UU see.

Don't bother with UU see, not really in that much use, stick to sopcast, tvu player and tv ants at a push.

I'll have a look at the download and see what the crack is, in the meantime.

Thank you for your reply julioarca! I will try to do the system restore.

I just wanted to download UUsee because they were showing The Masters today. I don't know what happened with the program though, hopefully I don't have a virus on my computer now because of it.

Thank you for your help once again.
