unable log in on match days

For the last week I been unable to log in on match days. Is it my at my end or is anybody having the same trouble? When I do get on every thing is slow to load.

It's not just you dave sometimes I don't bother going on near the match times because I know it won't probably work, the server just doesn't work when alot of people are online...You could try the chat if you have a problem when the server is down or save the match links

Suzie I had trouble over hour before match times. But I been having trouble with the internet as well. NTL speed down to 964 kbps instead of 2 meg. Its been put right, but for how long? I will keep checking.

around match times the server can become quite strained and connecting to the site is slow to say the least
you should get directed to the chat room when the server cant cope
as Suzie says saving the links page earlier in the day is a good idea
however the site has remained active since the switchover to new server

were you getting any error message when unable to log in to site or was it just not transferring you from the homepage

manUdave, click the option to keep you always logged on so that when you access the site at busy times it logs you in automatically.

It used to do that before, but now it doesnt. Every time I log in now I have to tick the box.

It might remain active but today i got the message twice when i logged on
"database far too busy at the moment" first time 98 on site second time same message 149 on site,tried to ask a question got sent to chat room i don't wanna go to the chat room.

Gazela trust me none of us want to have to go to the chat room ,
if the numbers were so low then you should have been able to get on site
i was able to get on all day although directed to the chatroom often
a back page will sometimes get you on siye even when busy

i am sorry you couldnt get on to the site but why did you not ask the question in the chatroom i and others were poping in and out of it when the site was busy

Have had trouble all week end with getting working links on sopcast etc have wracked my brains trying to work out what ive done wrong that suddenly i cant get to see a match at all.
Then get redirected to this chat page and try to log on same password i use for fsi no go with that so try two other user names and different passwords still wont log me on.
So log off and log back on try to ask a question in general sends me straight back to chatroom.(there were at this time 149 logged on to live streams).that was it i'd had enough of messing with comp and getting nowhere.

So missed a great weekends football.

have you updated to the new version of sopcast , i had same problem about 10 days ago if a channel did load it would crash the player after about 2 minutes the upgarde has sorted the problem
not sure why you couldnt get on to chat could you give it a try just now For live chat and assistance don't forget to visit the FSi CHATROOM! see if you are able to log in now

i know its annoying when the site is busy and you get redirected ,its not much fun for us either ,the thing is to keep trying the site as it has stayed up last few weekends at the same time as using chat if directed there

Sorry Accie didn't see this post last night that's the same sopcast page that opens for me as well, i either get channel is offline or it buffers to about 33%.
I hate having to delete things on the computer unistall then reinstall them im sure it's summat to do with IE ive IE7 installed.

Well i've reset IE so let's see what happens tonight.
While i was trawling through microsoft windows i noticed an update
MS07 - 069 SECURITY UPDATE if you have it installed MS are advising people to uninstall it it.
It makes IE shut down it's worded... internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.

when you are clicking a sopcast link is it taking you to the embeded player on the sopcast player as opposed to the desktop sopcast player
which version of sopcast have you instaled and is it for the web embeded only

Hi Accie opens up desktop player but have embedded one as well should i uninstall one of them.

no you should be ok with both installed i have both
the link i posted above should open the desktop player then clicking it again should load the stream
can you check you have login as anonymous selected on the sopcast player and click auto login on this machine for me and try clicking the link again

when player opens is it logging you in
if so is it still displaying the blue homepage on it

yeah Accie logging in anonymously ok and blue page displayed.
