Gossip columns are rife with United spending at the mo. A central midfielder and a goalkeeper would just about do. Not sure about Ashley Young - no doubt he is good, but it gives United 4 possible wingers (plus Rooney who slots in from time and time). Maybe Giggs will be used as the creative centre in the midfield. |

Telegraph and Guardian both reporting that third parties representing United and Arsenal met in manchester yesterday to discuss the Nasri, although the players agent wasn´t present. I would be very surprised if anything came of this. I´m happy with the Young and Jones buys. Young looks like he can improve and Jones was the reason we didn´t beat Blackburn at Ewood. he looks a prospect.
Clich reportedly wants away, as you´ve read, with Liverpool leading the chase.
Doesn´t normally get as frantic as this til deadline day does it? Good fun though. For me the interesting one is scott parker. he will not stay in London, in the champ´ship. He is a terrific player. You would imagine Liverpool, United and Arsenal would be thinking about him no?
