Tottenham Hotspur 2010/11
What do you think so far?
Blowing hot and cold for me. Looks like we might get into the Thursday Cup next year, if we're lucky.
Bale is playing out of his skin, all we need is for Lennon to find his pre-injury form. An on-form Defoe would be a welcome return.

That's the thing with Spurs. Stuff Inter and lose to Bolton. They have to work on the bread and butter games. Too many points dropped to mid-table teams.

The way City are playing at the moment I think a top 4 finish will be a big ask. Also another thing that might worry you lot is keeping hold of some of your top players now. Whilst Bale was blinding against Inter it has also put him right in the shop window and if Tottenham do fail to make the top 4 a real possibility the attraction to move to Europe's elite might prove too strong. Fanny Faart, for me, is only going to be a 1-2 season wonder, something just keeps nagging in the back of my head that he is only there to get games, before moving back to a European giant, might be wrong which isn't the first time.
But at least you boys are learning a new phrases, like "European hangover" and "After the lord mayors show". The extra few games could take your focus off more important things, like maintaining a climb up the league, but it still to early in the season to see how things turn out.

Superb match today. I would have had no complaints if Liverpool had won. Both teams went for it.
On the down-side, our penalty taking is still abysmal, same as last season.

an honest and balanced assessment. I enjoyed an excellent game and Liverpool played their part in it. All that was best about British footie today. Two committed and skillful teams giving it all. Great stuff

Spurs v chelsea
all the ingredients for a cracker today. Chelsea are too good to be in the slump for too long. And Spurs are having the time of their lives. Playing like every one of them realises the joys of playing footie for a living. Chelsea have to win eventually, so only for that reason, I'm going for a narrow 1-2 in a thriller.
Just a gut instinct, Spurs will probably hammer them now, but Chelsea due a win. Great day of footie ahead.

Another brilliant game.
spurs could have been two up before the equaliser. Gomez has been great. He's allowed a mstake or two now and then, even schmeichel and cech have messed up from time to time. The premier league is the most entertaining legue in the world. I love watching spurs. they are the best value for money this term . . . . so far.
Chelsea will be annoyed with drogba AND lampard. why did he not take the kick??
anyway roll on utd v arsenal now.

I enjoy watching spurs this season, they really are an exciting attacking team. They deserved a draw today thats for sure, their first half performance was sublime, the quick counter attacking then when they lost possession every man worked their socks off closing down and not giving chelsea time on the ball. Harry deserves alot of credit for the squad hes built and the football their playing at present.

Most Spurs matches have been great to watch for several years now. 2-0 up, 3-2 down. 2-0 down, 3-2 up have been regular occurrences.
It can be frustrating for the supporters but makes great viewing.

Pele is backing Spurs' 2012 stadium bid. TBH, I hope West Ham get it.

Just caught the Spurs v Milan highlights. Should've had a handball penalty in the first minute for sure. The two footed challenge was a clear red although i don't think he got him. He should be outed on video. And what the hell was Gattuso on? He was an angry little bastard weren't he. I know he's like that but he keeps his head most games. This game was he was out of order and he'll be gone for the next match also. Lennon best player on field along with an unlucky Van der Vart.

Hope Spurs manage to get through tonight. Recent displays don't fill me with confidence.
It's Spurs; Could be 3-0 down after 10 minutes, could score a last minute winner. All I hope is that they are first to the 'second ball' and up for the game. COYS.

Would like to see Spurs win comfortably but that's not going to happen, it's just not them. I think 2-1 Spurs, Van der Vart and Lennon need to have a great game and give them chances. Will be different Milan tonight but hope they both entertain as usuall. Saying that boring 0-0 will do you begs, but that will have the biggest odds.
