I had an argument with my mate about this. Although Arsenal lost to Barcelona and Spurs they have exceeded expectations beyond the "they'll fall out the top four" brigade.

But fact remains, Arsenal need players or one awesome one and not just young talent - but a figure head. If Arsenal get the £30m they have every year and never spend then they need to spend it on one striker.

Otherwise, depending on tomorrow, i think Arsenal have had a very successful season. Arsenal were never expected to still be competing with 3/4 games to go

We seem to be getting a striker-Chamakh, we just need Seaman and Adams reborn and we will be awesome.

Adams would be rubbish in the present Arsenal team. When he was playing, the team played to suit the defence. Nowadays, they don't. He'd be shown up as a donk week after week.

Adams would call the shots and get the other three to follow his lead. Wenger knew not to mess with the back four, he prolonged all their careers and built from Vieira forward.
