The Speed You Need
Into 2012 now and most people will be using at least a broadband connection for their internet use. However at the very least, an internet speed of 512 kbps is needed to watch streaming over the internet without buffering.
Want to know your internet speed?
When talking with your ISP over speeds (or lack of speeds) they may request you do a speed check with a particular service of their own liking and will disregard all others. Talk to your ISP about that.
If you just want to know your speed in general you can - click here
When the test is finished you will see a small box with your results in it - if you would like to post this result into the forum, click copy to forum on the bottom left and paste into your post and it should look like this -
