The army working for a private security company?

In the 2012 Olympics, the army have been drafted in to support what the private security companies undertook in their contracts. They will do the jobs of security guards etc.

This effectively means that their modus operandi will be decided by a private security firm, not the army. They will not be armed (surely an army must be armed). Another Tory plan to help out their mates in business who have over-extended themselves?

We're all in it together? The life-style of a person with £5 million in the bank will not be affected by a 5% rise in grocery prices. It has a life-changing effect on others.
