From today's Daily Mail
Referees' chiefs have again withdrawn Sian Massey from the spotlight following the Sky sexism row.
Massey was due to referee Corby's Blue Square Bet North game against Eastwood on Saturday after also being due to run the line on Tuesday at Crewe's League Two game against Bradford City.
She was withdrawn hours before kick-off then and was not awarded an FA Cup fourth-round tie this weekend.
She will also not be involved in any of next week's Premier League matches.
Yesterday's decision by Professional Game Match Officials came after Corby reported a huge demand for access by television crews at the 3,000-capacity Rockingham Triangle ground.
The PGMO insist the decision to withdraw Massey today was taken after consultation with the 25-year-old, a PE teacher at Foxford School and Community Arts College in Coventry.
The Premier League, who speak for the PGMO, refused to comment on whether there would be any financial loss for the official.

The poor woman won't be able to officiate again without being under the media spotlight. One mistake and she'll make the front pages.

Her first match is going to attract attention whenever it is, might as well just get it over with.

Aye. There's no point in putting it off.
Being a woman, can you explain the off-side rule to me?

I want to go back to the original rules when you were offside whether or not you were interfering with play. I think it was Danny Blanchflower who said, "If you are not interfering with play, you shouldn't be on the pitch".

Offside Rule
LADIES: You're in the queue in Topshop, shoes in your hand. Your friend sees a top she likes and throws it to you from the back of the queue, if there is nobody in front of you in the queue at the moment the top leaves your friends hands.... YOU ARE OFFSIDE!

Of course, the offside rule is a myth. It doesn't really exist at all.
It started out in the 1930s as an in-joke among referees to see how long they could go on making totally bizarre decisions during a game before the fans noticed something was wrong.
Well, the fans didn't notice and officials have continued to fabricate nonsensical decisions for their own amusement ever since.
They even have a secret league table each year of which ref can make the greaest amount of illogical and farcical decisions throughout the season. The award is made in front of an audience of all the FIFA accredited match officials and the winner then gets to ceremonially kick Sepp Blatter up the arse.
You know it makes sense!
