I want to know how come this relationship between Brooks and Murdoch is so close. He seems to be doing everything he can to protect her.

I do feel sorry for the 200 people he has made redundant because of his 'priority.'

And the fact Brooks is close personal friends with Cameron is hilarious. I don't see how he can slip his way out of this one with Coulson coming back to haunt him.

Brooks is being protected to (in turn) protect both News International and Murdoch jnr. She knows where all the bodies are buried, both in NoW and other News International media outlets.

If she goes (and threatens to tell all), Rupert will have to pay millions to her to shut her mouth. He's doing that. The woman should be in prison but it won't happen.

We can see how worried (and guilty?) News International are. They've deployed the 'scorched earth' policy. A company like News International will not give up a money-making brand unless they are trying to create a fire-break to save the remainder of their forest. They are trying to insinuate that the rest of the forest doesn't suffer from Dutch Elm disease just because one part of the forest was riddled with it.

I don't trust him.

A snake by all accounts. Good point about Brooks. If she goes, Murdoch is probably done for, which probably explains why they've allegedly sold Coulson down the river....... as just the one rogue editor guv
