that link is a fuck up in their system. users should only really be allowed to join for free if they're invited at the mo, as its still in beta stage. but that link works so, you know...get going before they realise

Spotify, the PC-based music streaming service, has announced changes that will see restrictions added to appease record labels.

In a blog post the company states: "Unfortunately we are going to be removing a number of songs from our catalogue and adding country restrictions to some tracks, which may make them unplayable for you".

The company explains: "The changes are being made so that we implement all the proper restrictions that are required by our label deals".

"The reason for this is that our agreements contain strict rules as to what tracks can and can't be played in various countries that we are now capable of implementing".

In addition, some music, said to have been delivered to the service "by mistake", as the artists "did not want their music to be included in a streaming service" has been removed.
