sopcast???
hi all
last night i uninstalled my sopcast app to re-install as it was performing badly, but i get this message after i choose the language select during set up. 'your sopcast main app or web browser is running, please close these softwares before installing sopcast 2.0.4'. i have closed all programs and completely removed all files associated with sopcast??
any help would be handy

If you have Firefox pre-loader, you have to stop that too, separately.

hi begbie ive only recently changed my browser to firefox and i'm not sure how to stop that seperately. I know i could un-install it then re-install but wanted to know the correct way for the future, cheers

Sopcast
Hi, each time I open Sopcast I get message to download latest version. When I go onto the sopcast website and download the latest version I am unable to open sopcast with the message saying file corrupted or something! Has anyone encountered similar problems? Please help!

I guess if you haven't already, try uninstalling your now busted one completely and try a fresh install of the new version again. After that I'm a bit lost and maybe someone else has a better clue.

sopcast shuts when buffering
hi has anyone had this problem i open sopcast and click on a link it starts to buffer up then when it gets to about 35% a box pops up saying a problem as happened and needs to close i've tryed uninstallingand reinstalling but i get the same problem every time anyone know how i can slove this ???? as it's starting to really pee me off now

Have you tried installing a different version of sopcast? Sometimes the most recent ones have issues so the older ones can be more reliable.

I had a similar problem for a while Sopcast worked a couple of tomes, then I got an error. I uninstalled/re-installed a few times and it fixed itself. I don't know why.

Hi. uninstalled the old sopcast and downloaded the Webplayer version of sopcast. Thats done the trick. Thanks for your help!

hi guys, i cant seem to get sopcast, every time i try to download it, i get a message saying that i need to turn off ie or firefox but how can i do it, i have tried installing mozilla firefox, and then uninstalling it but no success, its driving me nuts. cheers all.

Just close the ie/firefox windows that's all it means. Don't have to uninstall them
