hi guilds and welcome to FSI
yes its quite easy to fix
1 open sopcast (click desktop icon)
2 loginto player by selecting the top option(if not already selected) and click the large button at bottom
3 at the botom of the player you will see a blue box next to the red one click the blue one
4 in the drop down menu select english and click middle buton bottom of box
and thats it set to english for you

Sopcast links that dont do much?
Hello, Im new to this but have found the site to be a revolution. (Many Thanks to those that make ity happen.

I have installed TVU Player which works perfectly
I have installed TV ants which works most of the time (although sometimes doesnt get past the buffering stage) but im happy enough with it.

Its Sopcast that im having problems with. When i click on the FSI link to sopcast. Sopcast opens but does not connect to any stream. If i then select the channel tab and choose a channel it works, but quite often i cant find the channel in the list. Have i missed a trick or something.

Can anyone help?

Many Thanks

I tried all the links but each one does nothing except open Sopcast. Do you know why the channel doesnt appear with all the other sports channels in the channel tab?

Many Thanks

click the link once allow sopcast to open give sopcastexe clearance if requested click link again and channel should start to load allow up to a few minutes with some streams to fully load

Doubt it, unless opera has an active X plug-in.

Edit:

Opera does not have in-built support for Microsoft's Windows-specific ActiveX technology or the VBScript scripting language.

I really like Opera seems alot quicker than IE and less of them annoying pop up ads but I'm really going off it now with all the problems I've had with plugins and active bloody X!

I'm happy with Firefox with the about:config changes, pre-loader and the 'turn the page into an IE page' button for IE only links.

I gave Opera a quick go, but I'm probably from the 'I know what I like, and I like what I bloody-well know' school of thought.

I use Gran Paradiso v3.0a8 (firefox 3). Apart from slow loading time and being a bit buggy, its 'snappy'.
