sopcast script error
hi every one.
I'm having a problem with sopcast lately, when i open sopcast or click on a sopcast link i get a error message ( internet explore script error......an error has occurred in the script on this page. do you want to continue running scripts on this page ) and when i click yes or no it just wont go away and sopcast freezes. is this a internet explore issue? can anybody help?
PS Ive got windows XP MCE service pack 3, IE8

I'm on W7 and haven't come across the problem. I use Firefox and don't watch Sopcast streams via my my browser.
Despite the above, have you tried uninstalling Sopcast and reinstalling the latest version?

yes i have tried uninstalling Sopcast and reinstalling it but the script error still comes up and even when i open sopcast on its own not a Sopcast streams via my my browser i still get the error. im beginning to think it might be a IE problem

i'm on xp at the mo I've started getting the same message, i just cliick yes & continue. Seams to work ok for me.

Ive just got a new computer I'm on win 7 pro. I'm setting it up & trying it out today, if lots of swearing & banging is heard in the manchester area at kick off time it will be me

i managed to halve fix it. what i did was uninstall sopcast then i got rid of traces left on my PC by going to start then search and deleted any sopcast traces the search found then i did a scan with ccleaner restarted my PC and installed sopcast again. the script error still comes up but now when i click on yes they go away (before they wouldn't) and im able to watch the stream.

The script error is caused by a conflict with Google Analytics - it's harmless. It's to do with the ads shown on Sopcast not communicating with your computer properly due to either browser problems and/or adblock aps

simply click that error message away and good is. that eror message makes no trouble to watch sopcast on IE and windows 7. btw, ads on the most flash streams are much more annoying for viewers without a propper adblocker, lol
