Hi
I have been watching YES TV form the Sopcast link up until recently. Now it says I need to use VLC player to view this. I have downloaded VLC player byt when I hit the link you put up to YES via Spocast it does not seem to connect to the VLC I downloaded. How can I get YES to play in VLC player please:o

Click on the YES Sopcast & let the channel buffer up and play. Your screen will be black. Then Open VLC > Click Media > Open Network > Enter http://127.0.0.1:8902 (http://127.0.0.1:8902) > Click Play.

. Then
Open VLC player
Click Media
Open Network
Enter http://127.0.0.1:8902 (http://127.0.0.1:8902/)
Click Play.
and stream will play

Alternatively in options on sopcast point the external player to VLC then hit the button next to fullscreen and it'll open it in VLC.

Cheers for that. Is it always the same address whatever the game? How could I have found this if ou had not told me?

that will work for any of the streams on sopcast not just the yes one

Burdock has a friend who swears that VLC is the only way to go if watching a stream in a shed.

Thanks for your help guys. Can you advise me also on watching streams on Veetle, do I need to download software to view streams on Veetle.

no software just a browser add on. it's perfictly safe just follow instructions here

yes you will be asked to download and install the veetle plug in
it is safe to do so it has been around a few years now and always scans clean each update ,which is frequent at times , then just refresh the veetle page and stream will start
i use veetle whenever i can now quality is normally spot on
a bit digitization sometimes but soon clears
