where did you download it from? is it still the same false positive as before?
Are you using AVG?

AVG still flags it, its safe, i've just ran the one we host, the chinese mirror is down.
But yeah, it's fine, search this forum for 'virus threats', redrobbin and you will see what certain antivirus flag as a trojan when they are being a little over zealous.
Ppmates shite anyways

Cheers Redrobbin.
A few anti-virus packages have been signalling that for a while but it never seems to actually be anything to worry about it. From my own experience, PPMate has never worked satisfactorily for me so I don't bother with it.
Also, the Chinese versions of UUSee throw up warnings for me but I've found an (almost) English version that doesn't, post #57 here (http://www.fsicrew.info/forums/uusee-t42.html?&highlight=uusee) works apart from the CL games.
My own feeling is that the anti-virus software is detecting a weak spot in the application that has been exploited in the past in another application and perhaps the same bit of code has been used in this application. <-- Don't depend on that, it's just a hunch.

goes back to the pcast days when all the anti virus programmes used to flag it , ppmate still uses a few of the pcast protocalls hence the reason for being flagged by some of the anti virus programmes ,it is safe to use as long as its downloaded from a reliable source
uusee i think its that little add on (google type language bar) that causes the problem with it just dont install any of the add ons and delete the language bar after instalation and its fine as well
use nod32 and for single files use jotti virus scan
