Dave can you post the link you use and I will check that out to rule out isp problem, O2.

http://www.cable.co.uk/news/o2-to-restrict-p2p-usage-19396486/That's 2 years ago and FSi isn't a peer-to-peer platform, just a website, so wouldn't be affected.

I have no problem with p2p or newsgroups , even last night was watching with two sopcasts open and a browser site open.
Just couldn't logon to here very strange.

shut down computer, reset wireless box, reboot, can only get on site through logging on to live streams then logging on forums. strange. Just done a speed test & only getting 3.5 meg. think a phone call is needed:(

Dave how long have you been on O2, word of warning if you are on old package (legacy like me) do not get pressured to sign up to new packages as these are the ones they are throttling.

O2 are considered one of more laid back ISP's in Britain. Don't tend to throttle p2p during the day unlike a lot of them out there. So i can't image they have been forced to "deny access" and the UK isn't really that kind of place.

I can still get on newzbin despite BT being told to restrict access.

edit: Looks like I may have an outdated view on throttling.

I dunno, you pay good money.....I'm getting problems on Firefox and Chrome when I try to post new links. It must be a vBulletin thang or different browsers not taking 'due care' to ensure that their products are 'backward compatible'.
