sopcast problem (help)

can someone please help in time for the new season, when I click on the sopcast icon it takes me to the sopcast player but only to the last channel I was watching it doesn't direct me to the new channel.

Sopcast is driving me up the wall at the moment!

It will buffer up and play, then within about 30 seconds the buffer drops to around 30%....... resulting in poor stuttery playback..... very frustrating considering it is the main footy provider at the moment....
