What happened to the Sopcast links on this site? I get 'Channel is offline now' for almost every Spocast football link on this site  They (especially the YES and Fox links) were very reliable until ***** went down recently.
Ideas?

For example, of the 11 links listed for the Fulham v Blackburn game that's on now, only one link (B2LIVE 2) isnt offline.

We do not take the Sopcast links off-line. Perhaps they are not streaming as it is a pretty boring day for Premiership games. Perhaps for other reasons. The streamers may have an attachment to, or are paid by, another site.
FSi does not pay any streamer. We have no ads on our site and have no income stream. We do our best but cannot force a streamer to stream.
Edit: Good quality browser stream (http://hqstreams.org.uk/index.html).

Ah, so you don't actually check if the Sopcast streams for are working, you put them up for every game? (LOL, I'm not expecting you to force streamers to stream, I know how this works).
The YES and Fox Sopcast links have been 'Channel is offline' all weekend, which is weird for them.

YES came online for the Arsenal game yesterday at 15:05 BST. If you are more comfortable with piss2piss or whatever they are called nowadays, you should go there.

Nothing like a site taking on customer feedback :) mmyypp22pp usually had their shit sorted on links hours in advance of games, perhaps they had a good working relationship with the common streamers and a heads up on what channel would be showing what?

At the end of the day, the streamers are all independent. They can, and do, change their minds, or occasionally not bother at all. I guess that is the case today.
As for the other site, they've a lot of shit that needs sorting at the moment.

Sometimes sop links can be hard to connect to, like tats already said he managed to get on for the Arsenal game but I didn't. Sometimes it takes a few attempts to connect other times you can't, especially after KO. The earlier you get on the better. Some sop links advertise that they are showing games but fail to, which no one knows about till KO.
As for *****, I've had just as much bother getting a link sorted as anywhere else. At least here you can get some feedback from the chatroom as to what links are working.

Your choice of the words 'customer feedback' tells a lot. Members of FSi are not 'customers'. We sell nothing and derive no income from people accessing our site.
Mypiss2piss made a fortune from ads. Dutch Bob creamed this money into his own bank account. You appear to be quite happy to fill his wallet. We aren't.
I've been posting links for quite a few years. One of the funniest incidents occurred when Piss2 were copying our links on a regular basis. I posted a completely bogus link and it appeared on Bob's site within 5 minutes.
You ask about the *****. I'd invite you to post on that site, mentioning FSi and see how long your post remained up and your membership lasted.

I only got a link from B2LIVE also, none of the others worked. Considering the fact that the guys who provide the links on this site do it all for free then I don't see a problem with that, bottom line is that 1 link worked and it was a good link and it didn't cost me a penny :)
Cheers chaps!
