I know that this isn't 'Site News' but I didn't know where else to post it.

Self-styled internet Robin Hoods are using broadband technology to allow fans to watch games online via hijacked streams from broadcasters such as Sky Sports. The pirates then distribute these streams free across the internet. Fans are using the hijacked feeds to avoid broadcaster subscriptions of between £50 and £100 per month.

We at FSi, AKA:

Robin Hood

Little John

Friar Tuck

Alan Á Dale

Maid Marion
hate the Robin Hood reference. It is lazy journalism.

We all do this for different reasons. As Roy Walker said, 'Say what you see'.

Strangely enough i saw this on the BBC website yesterday,
"The number of internet streams showing matches illegally has increased, say some of the UK's biggest sporting bodies."

Reckon NetResult must be coming up to pay rise time and are trying to say they are doing a good job.
Fair play for the Liverpool supporter for sticking 2 fingers up to them.

NetRes must be the dictionary-definition of 'An organisation not fit for purpose'.

They claim that they are doing a good job, taking down thousands of streams last year. How many games have we not been able to see?

Internet streams are here to stay. FSi does not stream and we only provide links that are available on Google, if you ask Google the right questions. How can anybody condemn sharing knowledge?
