Site runnuing slow

Is the site running ultra slow yesterday & today. I've checked my speed & its ok. But I'm having difficulty opening threads?

:'(I too am having the same problem other sites and web pages are okay but this site is slow for me,to give an example from the second I hit the reply to this page I timed it and it took 1 minute 20 seconds before it opened,and that was after running cc cleaner my speed just tested was a little over 2 mb which is my normal speed,I dont normally have prob but tonight is hopeless....:drink:
ps it as taken 2minutes for the smilies to load

Just run a cleaner myself, but made no differance. IS IT JUST MAN U FANS PROBLEM. Mmm

Yes definitely slow for me too weird was on a couple of hours ago reading these no problem have run ccleaner no different only this site

Been slow for me too... wouldn't be surprised if it was that last firefox update. I'm on a mac and I swear every other update with firefox screws something up...

Yeah same for me twice today was even slower tonight than earlier in the day
Clear my cookies etc every day so it aint that.
Sure the lads will sort it they usually do.

Nope, its running super duper slow, taking about 2-3 mins for a page to load

Tried again this morning and from the time I opened the browser to writing and seeing this in the screen 9 minutes

Was already on the forums when i recieved this and the pages are taking an age to load noticed there were only 65 people on live streams at the time.

A few stats for you, between 3pm and 4pm on Saturday the site had 374,634 hits, 23,480 views and got through 1.06 GB of bandwidth, I will hasten at a guess that most of that was in the first 15-20 mins!

The first thing to get disactivated when the site is struggling for resources is the forums, they are the cause behind the bottleneck so they are automatically suspended from using any more of the servers resources until they come back down to a level that that is within its capabilities!

This isnt something that happens without good reason!

The bleeding ghost is back. The site in running mega slow for me at the mo. Any ideas?
