First of all any quotes you make don't count as characters i believe so this ^^^^ above is not counted towards the character count. There are also a couple of firefox addons that cause a bit of conflict - one being noScript and another being Fox replace. If you're using noScript you can change in the settings to 'allow all' for FSi site. Other than that run Ccleaner to empty your cache and restart your browser.

I'm replying using the desktop as when i went to post this reply using the lappy I got this message
"The Following Error Occurred when this Message was Submitted"
1.The message you have entered was too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 5 characters.
The message I entered was the reply to your post it read as follows"Thanks for replying but I run IE9 and not Firefox, you will say Ah thats the reason, but surely if I have no trouble posting on other forums then it can't be an IE9 fault but a glitch on the site but then am I the only user having this occur then if so what can I do to fix it"as you can see the message between the Hyphens is quite long so Why the Error Message
I had the same problem with a new pc (windows 7). As said earlier, I just kept doing updates and now it's working. Never did anything else to correct it, can only assume it may be an update you haven't had as of yet.

Does it do it using a different browser? Have a go with something other than IE9.

I hate IE9 and went back to IE8 less than an hour after upgrading to 9,its just a lesser version of chrome to me and chrome is what i use all the time anyway

I probably will as I was only trying out IE9 and must admit I'm no fan so I will like I say roll back to IE8 I have tried Chrome and FF and No fan of either, although it seems odd that up to now this is the only site I cannot post using the lappy using IE9.:x (Thanks everyone for your input)

8)..Up date on this problem, before I rolled back to IE8 I had another try at posting using the Lappy but before I did I used the Compatability option and this is the result,so it was a compatability issue all along....8)
