Something weird is going on here.

Having just logged on, all my Private Messages have been deleted, no warning, no explanation.?

Now I'm not bothered about what was sent by me, but the received mail had some useful information that I could have done with keeping, (why not copy it some of you might think), well, I never expected them to be removed is the answer to that thought.

Anyway, has anyone else had there mail deleted.?

Also does any of the Mods/Admin know of anything going on.?

well they have all gone as they were taking up to much of the database and you will see the site is running better .
they were removed without warning as staff were trying things to get the site running quicker .

sorry if you lost stuff but we have asked in the past for people not to keep all there pm,s as it clogs the system up with 30000 members all keeping there 1 welcome pm + others it did not help .

may i suggest if you have any pm,s that come to you save them and delete the pm .

sorry again but its the same for us all

No worries Mad Dog, owt that keeps the site good and healthy gets my vote.

However, perhaps 24 hours notice would have been advisable, giving us time to gather any useful data.

To late now, closing the gate and all that, just a thought though for any other cleaning projects.

Yup, that wouldn't have hurt.

Robo. Carnforth? I lived in your twin town for a bit...Milnthorpe. They look the same if you travel through on't A6!!

Milnthorpe has more Police, and as you approach from the South on the A6 and stare at the Deer in the field on your left, you go over the brow of a hill and hit a 30 ZONE, and they ambush you straight away.

Carnforth on the other hand has a cop shop, but it is manned by volunteer's, so there for you can speed through at whatever you like.

Have you been in the Carny Inn, Queens Hotel, Shovel or the Station.

Ever go to the Warton Grange, how about the Ship Inn at Sandside or did you just go out round Kendal.?

Anyone else here live in the South Lakes.?
