filmOn hdi player have we lost sky sports 1 or what?Aye. Somebody's mentioned it on another thread. Like most new players, all the main channels get taken down pretty quickly. They know it's going to happen but use the player to show their technical ability, maybe open other doors for them.
If they are streaming, they are breaking the law and are easily tracked down if they're doing it through a dedicated player. No details have been released yet on how external streamers can stream on their player.

Still post stuff if you find it. Unless 'stuff' is poo on a stick. You can try to post it through your USB socket. Might smell a bit though.

Check out some of american channels. The knife & gun show. A pink handled
pen knife for mama on mothers day. If I'd bought my mam a pink handled pen knife for mothers day she'd have stuck it up my arse. these yanks shows are unbelievable.

Is there a way of making the channel viewr bigger? It's a bit annoying that you can only read the first few letters.
Og yeah and that annoying 'Fiiiilm on" chant they do every time you choose a channel, any way of removing that?

Og yeah and that annoying 'Fiiiilm on" chant they do every time you choose a channel, any way of removing that?If you use the URLs that mrc1 posted in the British TV thread, you can watch in VLC without the FilmOn software. It doesn't upset Veetle that way.
(Maybe he'll hunt out a few more channel's URLs )
Click tools & click full screen & click the double square at top right hand cornerI think that Toffeepop was talking about the channel list, not the screen size.

Looks like sky sports is no longer showing. So no sky, no setanta, no yes channel. That's the end of that then.
Thought it was too good to be true having sky on there.

I had that when I first downloaded the new version, but found by clicking the low quality links they worked. Then swapped back to the better quality ones.

They have ditched that latest terrible version and gone back to the last 1.8 release.

I have also uninstalled and gone back to the previous version. However, I see it still hasn't got Sky sports which is a shame and for football streaming purposes pretty useless as it doesn't have any of the channels on that show football. Shame as it's a great picture and buffer free.

They tried calling it Sports Test but that only lasted a couple of days too.

They updated yet again to 1.9, updated vlc links below. Read elsewhere about the developer threatening with encryption so posting the links for vlc might not last long, so he thinks.
