Hate to say it but Kahn is looking a quality boxer. He has stopped with the "bull in a china shop" tactic and its paying off.

Still find it a shame that the Cubans don't go pro or a lot of boxers would find it hard going, including Kahn.

Strange one this. One I don't like Haye at all and I don't think he's as good as he thinks he is, just looks good because the heavyweight division is in dire straits at the moment, all the exciting fighters are at other weights. As for his opponent, well he's not a great fighter either, just relies on his height and strength but not a good boxer, it's almost like he should be a different weight division altogether as in some ways he's a freak of nature and has an unfair advantage with his height. At least with other weights most people are roughly the same weight and not much difference in height. I dunno, I will watch this fight just cause I love my boxing but I can't say i'm really excited about it. I think for the good of boxing I would want Haye to win so he can have a crack at the klitchkos but he has been knocked down before and I think if the freak lands a half decent punch then haye will fall.

Anyone think Haye will win easily/get whipped?

I think he has the skills and quickness to get in, punch, then get out. Valuev has been beaten on points before. I've seen him take some massive headshots without even moving from a bigger guy than Haye. I think Hayes turning out to be a bit of a wanker now though so i really wouldn't mind seeing him get pasted...

The comms were fucking awful especially Jim Watt, what a cock that bloke is. He asked 'can you win a round by landing two punches?" Well yes you can if the other guy hasn't landed any which was the case with Valuev. Haye won by a mile, valuev was way to slow and nearly went in the last round.

How the judge had it 114/114 I will never know.


Now he can go whip the Klitchkos. I don't like haye but respect him a lot more now, he showed how to fight a much bigger man tonight and totally outclassed him, well done.

I was most disapointed with Valuev though, someone that big should be unbeatable if they had any kind of boxing skill. I felt a bit sad when Haye shook him with that left and his legs did a little dance, it looked a bit wrong lol

Pacman has to fight Mayweather, has to. I think Mayweather is brilliant but one thing he's never come across is someone as quick as him and pacman is. Not only that though, Pac has the two main ingredients to beat him, speed AND power, the man is unbelievable, to move up a weight like that and totally whip cotto's arse was sensational, strong as a fucking ox. I hope they get this fight on because it's what everyone wants. I still wouldn't like to call it as Mayweather is an amzing fighter, forget the bravado bollox, the man can box and Pac will do well to beat him but it has to be the fight everyone wants.

It's a no brainer really init. The amount of money they'll make cant be brushed aside easily. What you won't see is Mayweather standing in front of Pacquiao like Cotto, Marquez and Hatton. He's gunna have to go looking for him. Pacquiao had two very close fights with Marquez and Mayweather annihilated Marquez with ease. Watch those fights again and make your pick...Pac man hasn't dealt with a fighter with probably the best defence i've ever seen. It's a big ask. Just hoping that Pac can land one hard punch on Mayweather's chin to test him out as he's never really been hit.
