Can anyone help? Does anyone know how to delay an audio commentary so it's the same as the picture? There's about a 5 second time difference. Audio is in the lead [not something you can say very often about England]

Also, I've downloaded VLC but, when I paste in the address that's been posted, nothing happens. If there's someone out there who can help......?
[nothing too technical though, please.]

what link are you watching ?
open vlc player copy and paste link click media from top bar, click open network stream paste in address . make sure htpp is in the protocol then press play wait for stream to buffer.

I'm not using a link tonight-I was just wondering if there was something I could do with the 'tools' in the browser or in WMP?

My speed might be 54mbps-does that sound right?

the only way you can sync audio with pictures is by using realplayer

where a radio com is available via real player such as 5 live wait for a certain thing to happen on the pitch a goal kick , booking , throwin etc pause real player and wait for stream to catch up then un pause real player
the audio should more or less keep in sync with the video stream then
re do for kick off at start of 2nd half

So, that's only with Realplayer?

yes ,easiest way to do it , doesnt work with wmp and i dont think with vlc either although never tried with it to be honest , but works every time with real player and as has been delayed can be moved slightly forward or back to help keep in sync

Yes, thanks for the link. The picture here in Czech is great but I'm trying to get English audio set up for the England game.

I can't see why the VLC links aren't working. They seem pretty decent for most folks. :dunno:

My speed might be 54mbps-does that sound right? No, it doesn't. Try this speedtest (http://www.speedtest.net/) and post the results.

Well, this is really strange. I pasted the address in the VLC player in the same way as I usually do and this time it played. Unfortunately, it's CBBC but it's worked, at least.

I tried the Veetle but there's porn on that thing. I don't want that.

turn on the family filter it blocks all risqué streams
quality is well worth it

The picture is great on the VLC. Many thanks for posting the link.

Stenelly, thanks for the info about the family filter but it wasn't just about me-I was also concerned about kids who might want the football but then be tempted by the other stuff. It tempts me and I don't really want it.
