screen capture

im looking for a programme for win xp that will let me capture and save parts of the webpage im looking at .Had snipping tool on windows vista when i had that but you cant get it for xp only tablet xp (whatever that is.)
Any help much appreciated .

Your keyboard has one built in. Press "Print Screen" or "Prt Sc" or "Prn Scr" or however yours is worded. Its usually at the top right of the keyboard. Then open Paint and press Ctrl and V. Job done.

There's a program called 'snag it' that you can easily find a torrent for. It does other bits and pieces such as video capture etc..

Can't say I've used it too much though.

... or open Photoshop or similar and 'Paste as new image'. It's easier to exclude bits that you don't want to save or to change things.

cheers guys , doin a family tree , or trying to so just wanted to capture bits of info here n there . interesting stuff so far tho it is slightly head cabbaging lol

Also download Resizr- Free Online Image resize

Upload your captured screenshot save the new sized shot,open and crop shot to whatever.
