I like Robbie. He has no shame whatever! Fair play to him, he�s achieved a lot through aggression and self determination. His is an autobiography I wouldn�t mind reading.

Have you ever heard him on bbc 606? He screams and shouts at the callers half the time if they don't agree with him. 606 now equals the Robbie Savage show.

Never liked him until I followed him on Twitter, funny as funk. He does a song most weeks. Him and Rio had a massive wind up session a few weeks ago, Robbie wiped the floor with him.

That�s what I like about him snappie. I think he�s a genuine eccentric. Never been playing with the full deck. One thing thats interesting about him is that despite how all the opposition fans seemed to detest him, you woun�t find any of his peers slagging him off. He is popular in the gsme itself and that says a lot. How could you not admire him, coming to highbury, anfield, old trafford etc, with a vastly inferior team and throwing his weight around. He�ll do for me.

He can be funny, but, to me, he can be equally obnoxious. the funniest I remember of him was when he was commentating on a match for five live and the ball came his way. He went to head it and it his him in the face, drawing blood from his nose. The other commentator and him were very funny. But I still can't like him.

I dont mind robbie savage, i think hes abit off the square but the fact he is his own man and unorthodox in his approach to the game is kind off refreshing.

I understand why Savage annoys people, I look beyond it though mate. He needed some sort of edge when he was playing. Whatever the money these guys earn, it can't be easy coming up against Keane, Vieira, Wise, Lampard etc. week in week out. Robbie psyched himself into a position where he could go and compete with these guys. He never tried to hurt a fellow pro. He was a needler. Always in their ears. Also a terrific athlete, what he might have lacked in skill he made up in sheer effort. I remember him fondly. If I was coachng boys and girls I would use him as an example. You don't need to be gifted to play at the top. His application and heart took him a long way I think.

I am in Spain, and I've just spent the morning sitting in 20 plus degrees outside. I'm on the costa Blanca not the cold Costa del Sol!!

nicer here today snappie. 20 degrees and the clouds have disappeared! Thank Christ! Just got to work, chilling out and watching the news wires. Yeah the east coast hasn�t seent he rain we have had here this week.

Yeah. Just been with TRE for three months. The station is pretty popular on the Costa Blanca. we are the only real alternative to music stations. I enjoy it, love the chat and it isn�t difficult finding interesting things to talk about.
