Just you worry about your lot. You got stuffed last year by a bad Rangers team that has hardly spent a penny in transfers in the last 2 years.

30 million plus the tax bill could end up at another 30 million.Sounds like murray is killing the deal because hes not getting enough for his shares.

Believe me, Elf. Celtic are in the shit as well. Their out-goings and in-comings didn't tally last year. If you don't qualify for the Champions League this year, you're in the same boat.

You are right to say that both old firm needs the money from europe but celtics debt is only a few million, something that can be managed easily plus no tax bill coming our way.I dont think celtic will budget for the champions league money this year but would be looking for a decent run in the europa league.I really do think murray is just looking after himself and not thinking about the rangers fans who he just expects to spend there hard earned dough to service the debts.

All will be revealed during the transfer window. TBH, if Celtic get in one or 2 of the names that they are talking about, they have to qualify for the Champions League otherwise it's a loss over the season.

I expect Lennon to do a good job but we've got Walter.

i may be wrong but isnt a large part of celtics debt structured on a simlar baisis to what chelsea where the official debt has been paid by the chairman as a personal loan , iseem to remeber just prior to him taking over celtic having a larger debt than the next worse 3 clubs put together

scottish football financially is in a mess not just the big two either time .club directors and fans alike realised the size of the fan base , the commercial level , the realistic running costs and income that the clubs really have and stop thinking that they are compatible with much larger countries and leagues

if the banks gave most clubs 2 years to clear the debts or face action we would be left with about 8 clubs

Celtics debts are not loans from demont desmond, its the bank.I also think your wrong about us owing more than 3 clubs put together, before desmond bought into celtic fergus mcann put celtic on sound business footing. If the banks gave teams 2 years to clear debts the how many english premership teams would survive, not that many i would think.
