You may have heard about the campaign to give that overhyped dong - Simon Cowell - piles, and to stop this endless procession of x-factor (karaoke) contestants being number one every Christmas.

So you may want to pop a copy of 'killing in the name' in your shopping over the weekend.

I saw them at the Reading festival in 93 and I don't think I have ever seen a bigger mosh pit

Of course, it's ironic that both songs are released by sony - but hey, any excuse to piss off Simon Cowell.

Love to see Killing in the Name of becoming number one, then seeing it in next years Christmas compilation album. Good to see it sandwiched in between Little Drummer Boy and Mistletoe and Wine.

Agreed it would be cool as it's such a kick-ass song, but I am guessing they will massage the figures somehow.

I was listening to the BBC 5Live breakfast show last week... Nicky Campbell interviewed them live in the US. They then played live..... I thought to myself this is going to go wrong...... and it did.... about 2 mins in, the effing and jeffing started..... funny as fook..... and they were then uncerimoniously cut off.... with the female co-presenter apologising... "I'm sorry about that..... they promised not to swear".

Brilliant. I am shocked to be honest, I thought the snoring boring x-factor would have won.

A great song to wake up to on Christmas morning - makes you want to smash up the house

Watching the early morning news BBC this morning and they had an interview with the lead singer(
