PS3 games

Just taken delivery of my free PS3, but got no games. Apart from the obvious PES, what else is good at the moment. I'm thinking of Colin McRae, Mortal Kombat v DC or NBA Live 09. Anyone got any of these?

When is street fighter IV out? that looks fluckin schweet!

Games ive enjoyed on PC and are out on PS3 - i think - are Dead Space, Fallout3, Call of Duty 5. All shooters mind...

Never been a fan of GTA dude, borrowed it off a pal and got bored of all the sequences in-between the gameplay. I just wanna sit back and play shit, if I wanted a movie, I'd pilfer one off t'interweb!

Like the look of Street Fighter too, there's a special colectors version coming out aswell i think.

Rev pointed 3 good ones out. Dead space is meant to be a scary fucker, Fallout 3 is meant to be a vast mish mash between an RPG and a FPS, and COD is just meant to be excellent.

Currently playing MGS4 which is class, but i've always loved the MGS games and Fifa online.

Gran Turismo and Resi Evil5 due out in march

Dead Space made me jump off my chair. Supurb sound and set-ups. Lacks a bit of replay value and there is one bit in the game that really stinks, but other than that its sweeeeet.

I dont think there is on PC, so probably not on ps3 either.

My son has got Bioshock which he loves also Drakes Uncharted and Mirrors Edge. The orange box is good value for money has about four games on I think. Resident Evil 5 is coming out very soon and I believe it has really good online play

Mirrors Edge looks good but its had some wide scale criticism.

Burnout is always a good laugh with mates. Best arcade racer you can get IMO

Mirrors edge is a really good game only downside is that my son only took a couple of weeks to complete it but he is playing it again also it gives me terrible motion sickness so if your a big wuss like me don't buy it

I quite like some of the bargain older games. Cause i'm tight as fuck.

I picked up Assassins Creed for 7 quid and it is awesome. Fight Night Round 3 is also quality, and can be picked up for about 10 quid as well.

The new Street Fighter looks magic. I will wait for about 4 years, and pick one up then.

Fight Night Round3 is fucking awesome fun. Never played it single player, as a multiplayer game its brilliant

Borrowed Assasins Creed off a mate, looking forward to playing that.

My console has been downloading demo's today. Wipeout HD is stunning.

Yeah I used to love playing fight night round 3, was such good fun. Great when you connect that punch that puts them straight into a daze, can turn a fight.

Decided on Guitar Hero and PES 09 to pass the time until Tom Clancy HAWX is released. Guitar Hero is pretty good fun and PES is awesome, anyone play it online?

Mike, i have PES and i am well disappointed with it. Especially online, as it's really jumpy. I thought it was maybe my connection, but every other game i have is fine.
I have even changed to Fifa, and that after about a decade of ISS and then Pro Evo. Gutted.

Mine wasn't too bad, played a random the other night (got thrashed 6-1) and only a couple of minor jumps.
