It would appear that although ive tried to post a clean English version of PPStream, I am being ridiculed for doing so.
I just thought it would be a solution for people who are apprehensive about messing with there computers.
If you wish to remove the link and the relevant posts then please do so, but one question, why havn`t you bothered to give it a shot, and if you have, but didn`t like it, then let me know why.?
I was only trying to help.
If my input is not welcome anymore then please let me know.?

soz robo, is that the impression I gave?? I have nothing against you doing what youve done and apologise if thats what it appeared like!! I was speaking for myself and no-one else, things I say are often taken as coming from the site, this wasnt one of those occasions..
I do have a couple of gripes though whilst your asking!! again these are personal opinions..
1. turning it from a 1.2mb or 2.4 mb with the translated version to a 6mb with your installer is one hell of a jump, how have you managed to make the installer add over 4mb to the file size??
2. why havent you zipped it up? you know how wary people are of downloading exe files, its makes sense to zip it so people can at least virus scan it before extracting it.. not all members will know you, for all they know it could be a self extracting virus!
apart from that I have no worries..

Ok..
The reason the file is bigger is because the installation is in every language known to man, granted this seems a silly idea as the application is being translated into English.
Didn`t think about RAR`ing it, probably because I know there`s nothing wrong with it.
Have you tried it yet, I know it worked well on my PC, just wondering how you got on and weather you think it will be of any use to anyone.
I'm currently working on Pcast and UUsee, removing all the nasties and putting it back together, proving a little tougher to crack, especially Pcast.

Click on the link in football section, will take you straight their. failing that, on page 1 of this thread Bookworm posted the names (in Chinese), just click on the name that corresponds to the channel you want.

I don't seem to able to get PPStream working at all. Does anyone else have this problem? I've got it to English alright but no channels come up, it just says "Refreshing" and never comes up with a list. Also, when I try and use the Guandong HD link into PPStream it takes me to the player but then a message comes up:
"The file you are attempting to play has an extension that does not match the file format. Playing the file may result in unexpected behaviour".
Be grateful if anyone has a solution to all this or any suggestions if I'm doing sommat wrong this end, eg. missing a codec. I'm using WMP 10 after rolling back from 11 (a suggestion i read somewhere)

Version 2.0 released, currently testing it. Be aware there is a trojan horse in the update folder if you try it. The english patch on page 1 still works.

Play PPstream with VLC.
Watch PPStream with the VLC player!
Here's how...
Open PPStream.
Select your channel.
Open VLC player.
Click File.
Click Network Stream.
Click HTTP.
Then Copy & Paste this address...
127.0.0.1:18988/ps/1209076413/968/赛车世界.asf
Put the http:// before the address if you wish. But the player should play the channel anyway!!!
Fingers crossed you should be watching PPStream Through the VLC Player

PPStream has always hated me.. Hopefully it'll work for some people.

control panel will not allow may to uninstall the program because it says it is running although I have closed it down.
Any clues on uninstalling and which version to replace it with would be appreciated.

If you are on XP, press ctrl-alt-delete all at the same time. That will give you a list of running processes. Click on the PPStream then right-click and 'kill' it or do the same via the menus at the top. I can't be more accurate as mine opens a Sysinternals program instead of the original.

Ctrl+Alt+Delete. Click on Processes tab and find PPmate and rick click End Process. If it still wont let you do it, restart the computer in Safe Mode and that usually works.
Or can you not just install the English version over the top of it?

Download and install at least Sopcast and TVU from here.
The match listings are here and here. Click on one of the applications that you have installed and the stream should load, if it is online. A lot of channels don't start until near kick-off time.
There are a few step-by-step user guides here, with pictures.
