Who gives a fuck?

Should have split after Be Here Now. Yet i still feel their presence was an important milestone in pop music. It would be somewhat proper for those 90's indie urchins to share some memories of what was a great band unitil they became a pop music factory, relying on stolen music from the Beatles, Smiths, Who, Kinks and Led Zeppelin.. Noel can kiss my arse, anyone can ponce off classic music to a clan of unknowing music buffoons in order to sell albums and then preach about how unoriginal modern music is compared to your hay day... At least blur remained original, reinventing their sound with each album despite collapsing into the hell of pop music rivalry with Country House and Charmless Man. They still picked themselves up and came back with Beetlebum, On Your Own, Song 2 and MOR and made your band look like a bunch of slimy money pinching pop factory merchants. I mean, fucking hell, Hindu Times was a blatant and undisguised rip off of Same Size Feet from the Stereophonics' Word Gets Around album which was written about 5 years prior to 'the big come back single'. You stupid dilapidated faced cunt, Noel. Jay-Z really made you look like a proper twat at Glastonbury too. When's the next 'best of' out? To which im sure you'll again disapprove of again whilst laughing to the bank. "NME interview on why we broke up?". Noone gives a shit. The Masterplan was a good album i thought? Any other crowning moments from the FSi massive?

Meh I was happy with this news and I believe I drank a few beers.

They've done some good songs, but they're not as incredible as they've been made out to be. Still they weren't the worst thing to happen to music

First couple of albums where ok but after churning out the same style they got very boring. We obviously got the typical radio hysteria of playing non-stop fucking Oasis tracks and realised that not only do they like to rip of the Beatles etc but so much of their new stuff sounds just like their old stuff. Like you said at least the likes of Blur kept trying new things, a lot of it didn't work BUT at least they put the effort in to try and discover something new, which is why I much prefer listen to Blur than Pooasis.
