Just bought myself one of these bad boys today. Fookin great fun.

I got Wii Sports, Wii Play and SSX Blur for Â£240, which was a pretty good deal I think. That included exchanging my 3 year old PS2 and a load of games which they gave me 92 quid for.

Anyway, point of post, anyone got one? anyone got any good advice about wii's in general? Oh, and I just bough from ebay a USB wi-fi adapter so I can go online with it, is it easy to get online?

Dont stand near TV or furniture as injuries may occur.I belted my hand against a cabinet whilst playing tennis.

Havent got a clue, apart from that they look mucho fun, wii sports looks essential. I could just ditch my ps3 coming down in price at xmas vigil and get one of these.

I have got a cricket game that connects to the telly and you play similarly except with a bat and ball (perhaps obviously). highest score 38 and i've always got a sweat on by then

Exactly what I did mate.

I did a Wii Sports fitness test earlier, my wii age is 38!!! apparantly the best is 20. Major work out on the guns though!

Have got an old ps2 i could part ex for it, how much we talking for the console plus wii sports?? just kelkoo'd it 179.99 delivered from game. I'm gonna sleep on it, no more impulse shopping on the net

Have a Wii and have just got a router this now opens more doors. Able to surf the net (once you download opera browser) and also use it to stream to the TV quite cool. Have watched a couple of films already. Makes it more than just a console.
Annoying thing is that opera was free up to 30th June so you have to pay now.

Got mine from Gamestation, they gave me 30 quid for my PS2, the other 62 was games and extra controllers, mainly 5 versions of singstar which I had to prize away from my wifeys hands!

I got one and got Zelda, Red Steel and Wii sports kept me entertained for 5 months or so, but lately lack of quality games is a problem..... Mario and Metroid prime will be my next two purchases i think..... unless i impulse buy paper mario.....

I got a 360 last week.... and for hardcore gaming its the business.... The Wii is to kill boredom

Why did you buy a usb wireless adapter mike ?

Unless you dont have a wireless router ?

Do NOT buy tiger woods 2007, its crap with very wonky control. Exite truck is not too shabby, ive passed a few rainy hours away playing that with the kids.

Unlucky for you the browser was free up until the start of july as chivers has said. The system seems perfect for the kids and me/wifey as none of us are gamers, the perfect tool to kill a few hours and work up a sweat.

Nope, Speedtouch USB modem on a 10m RJ11!!!

Gonna wait for Tiger Woods 08, apparantly all the bugs have been fixed.

She's a cracking singer, she's even recorded a track in a pro studio. However I did beat her in a sing-off over xmas and handed myself the title "king of sing", she still gets reminded of it every now and then!

Trade it all in mate, you'll love it.

I have a wii and have got 8 games got mine the day it came out.

Got:
Mario Strikers Charged
Wii Sports
Wii Play
Red Steel
Warioware
Monkey Ball
Rayman Raving Rabbids
and just bought Mario Party 8

My mum NEVER plays computer games, saw me and brother playing and fancied a go. She has the top score on Wii Sports Bowling of 270 odd. She reached Pro status in 6 or 7 games or something, hasn't scored less than 170 ever!! She broke 200 on her second go, took me weeks if not months to do that
