Mode not supported via VGA cable/LCD TV?
I'm not sure where to put this post, so I hope its okay in here.

I recently re-installed windows vista, I watch football via the net on my LCD TV via a VGA cable for years.

Now when I swap cables my Samsung LCD TV shows a message "Mode not supported". This is the first time I have tried this since re-installing vista a few days back so I'm sure that must have something to do with it.

Any ideas anyone, thanks.

EDIT# I changed the resolutions, Its all good now, panic set in and I didn't think with a straight head

Sorry Guys!!

Try changing the display setting to 800 x 600 if not try another setting. Sure i had same trouble when connecting my tv. Probably reinstalling vista may have changed your settings.

Hey Jake

I edited my post yesterday (couldn't see a delete option) when I realised what it must have been only minutes after posting, thats what I did I changed resolutions back to how they used to be before.

When I re-installed vista I just got used to the new settings straight away without thinking.

I look forward so much to live footy streaming via the TV that I lost the plot for a few minutes, starting shaking and needed some valium to calm me down

Cheers!!
