Megson New Owls Manager

According to Sky Sports News former Owls player Gary Megson has confirmed he has accepted the Managers job at Hillsborough

Here's hoping he can inspire the team

EDIT: LOL that was quick, his page on wikipedia was updated at 16:56 to say he's the manager, even before the press conference at Hillsborogh

Got to be a good move stik, Megson has plenty of experience albeit with higher divisions. Do you think it's good for the owls?

can't believe anyone would think this is a good appointment. He's failed everywhere, a perpetual sack man.
I'll give him 6 months before he gets the bullet

I hope that he can motivate the players and we turn things around.

We have had some very good games and some very poor games. The good games have proved we have the players who can get the job done. If we could be more consistent then we could easily climb back up the table

stik sky knew megson was boss before he knew himself lol,they said it at 3.30 that he was new boss with Press conference at 5pm

Don't forget it's league 1 we only get has beens or new ones starting out. He did alright with west brom and ok with bolton for a while, never an easy position for anyone. I think he will do ok and build his career back up.
