Well, we're not surprised that We didn't add to squad before window closed. The boss was spot on, there wasn't a player who was available, who would have improved the squad. He definately knows best.

It was suggested that he would bring in a creative midfield player to cover Scholes, but they don't exist outside the top teams. Liverpool won't sell us Gerard

and Arsenal won't sell us Fabregas.

One player who I'd love to see at United is Stephen Ireland. I cannot believe City left him go to Villa. Crazy. But it gave me hope, the fact that he is at another club other than city makes me believe we'll see him in a united shirt one day. A marvellous player.

Pallister likes the look of smalling. Lot of competition for places this year in defence, with Rio coming back, Vidic, Evans, Brown and now smalling.

Forgot to mention, Media not said a lot about Owen Hargreaves. Surprising as he has been included in the 25 man squad. Apparently he's back in US with knee specialist. Must be in the last chance saloon. Shame as he is a magnificent talent, as we saw fleetingly in 2008 when we won the champions league

hi!!!! sorry to hear your missing me posting about Liverpool it's just now that everyone has realised they are crap including their own fans and the press and pundits etc. I don't need to post it anymore....I was sick to death the last couple of seasons of Liverpool fans believing that they could actually win the Premier League

No need for me to comment anymore...so sorry I have missed a few games but I did see the 2nd half of United v West Ham in a bar in florida we looked really good or West Ham looked really bad I couldn't tell! Anyway heres to a successful United season

You'd think after being included in prem squad he would naturally be in Euro squad? Sadly, I don't think we'll ever see him play for us again.

He had the talent to be a united legend

...he was bought with knee problems and that's how it's turned out unfortunately. It's a crying shame as he was a class player. To be honest - don't want him in the champs league squad - he's not up to prem league how can he be up for both

Glad for the guy .deserves the plaudits I think he has been one of uniteds best players over the last couple of seasons hope he keeps his form going .one of the good guys off the field also

No, and Madrid wasn't a good experience for him either, although that wasn't entirely his fault. He needs to learn that the rest of his career is to be spent with us. He's like a prodigal son.

Some people just can't cut it being the top dog, stick to being an assistant, same goes for Brian Kidd.

Aye, don't forget though MIke, Fergie had told the club before Queiroz left for Portugal, that he should be the next boss. So I'm in agreement with you, but our gaffer thinks different. I hope he comes back anyhow.
