I'd have paid to keep the fooker alive so that he'd suffer, but I'm a torturous b@$t@rd anyway. Why should he be let free to spend his last days with his family? Total disrespect to the victims families IMHO.

I think it makes a bit of a mockery to justice system. But there is also the fact that the Scottish government were able to show the compassion that all humans deserve.
Fact is there is no right or wrong, its a very sensitive subject. I just hope it wasn't a political decision in trying to strength relationships between Libya and the West.
I dont think anyone can say the welcome he got was in anyway appropriate or justified.

I don't think it was an appropriate welcome, or justified, but I'm not sure the Scottish Government had any great choice. They'd have been nailed either way.
In playing devils advocate, but what would our reaction be if there was a British man locked up for a decade in a foreign country, strongly believed to be the victim of a miscarriage of justice?

Maybe a few Americans will understand why we were disgusted in N. Ireland when the US harboured Irish terrorists and US citizens financed terrorists.

When the murderous cnut dies the whole of Great Britain should have street parties and carnivals. We'll soon see the relations between us and Libya nosedive.
