Wasn't this a response to the genius that is Redknapp jnr and others like our dogger friend Collymore and some more 'old school' pundits. I seriously think Redknapp spends too much time playing Wii footie now. He can't even remember simple things like when Alonso was playing and when he wasn't. He's also a mockney tosser as well

I don't see a problem myself. He subbed a player who then scored twice in the next game - maybe that justifies the subbing? Who knows.

What's the saying: you can please some people all the time but not ........... you get the idea anyway.

odds of former Chelsea FC and current Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho to become the next permanent manager of the football club.

Among the contenders to take over at Liverpool FC, is former Anfield hero Kenny Dalglish, currently working at the Merseyside club as a Youth Academy Director and Club Ambassador. Other current Premier League manager’s includes Aston Villa’s Martin O’Neill, Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish, and Fulham boss Roy Hodgson.

The Anfield club have been hotly tipped to replace the Spaniard, while the current owner’s of the club, Tom Hicks and George Gillett have put the club up for sale. Liverpool FC manager

Rafa Benitez has also been linked with a move to Italian Serie A giants after a difficult campaign for the Old Lady in Turin. Liverpool have experienced a poor campaign compared to last year's title tilt, and change is rumoured to be the mark of the summer at the Anfield club.

The other candidates for the Liverpool job include out of work and former Manchester City manager Mark Hughes, while current Bordeaux manager Laurent Blanc, tipped to take over France after the World Cup is also in the running.

SKY BET ODDS FOR NEXT LIVERPOOL MANAGER:

JOSE MOURINHO –5/4
MARTIN O’NEILL –9/2
KENNY DALGLISH – 8/1
 LAURENT BLANC –10/1
MARK HUGHES -12/1
OSWALDO DE OLIVIERA –12/1
JURGEN KLINSMANN –16/1
ALEX MCLEISH –16/1
 ROY HODGSON –

hopefully we wont have to put up with the drivel he spouts for much longer.
if the bookies are anything to go by

I don't think you'll get The Special One. He's a cert for the Moan United when Red Nose retires at the end of next season.

Ta,

Jeff.

Heard Fergie recommending Moyes. To be fair United are going to need someone who can manage on a shoe string. Mourinho won't do that for you.

Ah the old managerial merry-go-round has popped up now the bookies have no PL teams to go on about in the champions league. I can't see Maureen at 'pool (and nor would I want him). Kenny ain't managed for 15 years. Martin O'Neill, McCleish.... now come on. Mark Hughes?? Klinsmann..... FFS.

I've no idea what will happen. In the meantime I will continue to wonder how the likes of Collymore and Redknapp Jnr became pundits.

Benitez is a dead-man-walking in the Liverpool job as far as I can see. Apparently Juve have offered him the job there. I reckon that he has accepted the Juve job unofficially but will wait to get the boot and pay-out from Liverpool before declaring an interest in it.

I wouldn't blame him for going but I think his motives would be related to funding for players and CL qualification for Juve. If Juve, have 80M euros (as reported in some of the press) then I am sure they will pay 'pool compo money. I'm sure Madrid will be knocking sometime soon as well.

couldnt see benitez lasting 12 months in the madrid job tbh.
i would like to see what madrid fans would make of two holding midfielders and one striker at the bernabau against cannon fodder.
italy is the place for rafa no doubt about it,
we controlled the game for shure no

exactly mate he wants his dosh and to be able to walk into the juve job,on another massive pay deal.
but rafa only has our club at heart so he tells us.
if thats the case why doesnt he walk.
he knows we are skint but still wants his reported 16 mill contract paid.
hes only there now because the two clowns that own us caved into him and his demands last year.
any other owners would of shipped him out ages ago.
who the fuck gives a manager a five year contract having won nothing in 4 years
we wont win no prem title with him still there
i kid you not
