A sad set back for him... he seemed to be getting into his stride after the long lay off. Fortunately, we seem to play comfortably without him now (which couldn't be said a couple of years ago).
Hope to see him back soon.

Apparently he was having fluid drained off.
Surely a tap on the ankle is called for.

How is the act going on the club circuit?

Shame really, he was finally enjoying a good run of form.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez was accused of giving "unreliable" and "inconsistent" evidence during the hearing which led to his ban for racially abusing Patrice Evra, it was revealed on Saturday.
In a detailed 115-page ruling released by the English Football Association, the panel found that elements of Suarez's testimony in the case had been "incredible" given the ill-tempered nature of his exchanges with Evra.
Here is the 115 page's of rubbish if any are bored and want to read it i read the 1st 20 but that's enough

I'll take your word for it although close scrutiny will probably show inconsistency on the FA's part too.

Almost, and shockingly, definitely.
And now every hack and tosser is having a pop - when some (as has been found) have worse skeletons in their own closet.

Hard fought result last night, but I'm pleased for Kenny that he's got the club to a domestic Cup Final. It may be the least prestigious of the two up for grabs, but with our recent track record, I will happily take it.
On the team, Carroll's confience must be rock bottom. I'm not sure where Kenny goes with him at the moment. It's too early to consider getting rid, but he really looks uncomfortable and out of place when he's in the team. Adam is another, who looks out of his depth now. Maybe its a confidence thing, but he certainly doesn't look the player he was at Blackpool, where he pulled the strings. If Leiva was fit, I don't think Adam would be in the team. Downing, after a promising start, has been in and out this season. For me, he doesn't score the amount of goals he should, and is a few yards short of pace to be a truly top class winger. Kuyt has been dsappointing this season too. The guy cannot be faulted for effort and commitment, but he gives away possession far too easily and some of his finishing has been woeful.
On the positive side, Skrtl and Agger have been doing pretty well together and Enrique has proved a shrewd buy at left back. I am glad Gerrard is back now, as he lifts the team. Bellamy has been excellent, if anything, he doesn't get enough time on the pitch, which must be frustrating for him, but it demonstrates a newly found maturity that he doesn't show it on the pitch. Henderson, after a difficult start, is starting to settle I think. He has what it takes, he just needs to be more consistent.
Overall, the squad is stronger than in recent seasons, but we are crying out for a couple of out and out goal scorers. The stronger sides in the League have four and five quality strikers to chose from, if one or two are off form or injured, they have options for change... we don't... and it shows.
Anyway, I'm happy to be finally back at Wembley again, and hopefully we can see off Cardiff. If we can beat United at the weekend, it will finish off a great week after the recent disappointments. I'm not sure we have enough in the locker for a top four place this season... but who knows?
