will be interesting to see if it forces them(sky) to reduce the charge to their own customers or if they hike the price up to cover the loss

Ofcom seem to have been announcing a few things in the last week or so. Interesting timing to say the least with an election looming as David Cameron (Murdoch's new mate) is known to highly dislike Ofcom (coincidentally so does Murdoch). Be interesting to see how it develops.

The Tories have said that they'll cut Ofcom's power if they get in. Maybe that's the reason that Ofcom are pushing out these decisions before the election is formally announced?

How will Ofcom boil their kettles if the Tories cut their power?

Portable camping stoves maybe?

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the BBC are on the hit list as well. I think Murdoch has been 'promised' a clearer run at world domination in return for the S*n supporting the tories.
