internet tv on tv
Hi, long time user, first time poster.

What is the best way to send the tv signal from my computer to a TV? I've got a bog-standard HDTV but a computer with only a VGA output.

Would a media streamer like SlingCatcher be the best idea? And if it is, which one? I'm a bit worried about shelling out £200 only to find that it doesn't work with TVAnts, Sopcast or Veetle.

Sorry if this has already been discussed but would be very grateful for any advice.

Cheers

you could do it with a VGA cable and audio jacks to pick up the sound (if your tv and comp are in the same room)

alan you could try a wirless sender as another option if your computer and tv not in same room or a good bit apart
saves on a lot of wires etc they cost about £30 to £60 but i got one from one of the big electric stores (korma or vindaloo)a one for all wireless pc to tv cost me £40 works a treat just move the reciever to where tv you want to use is i even got it on portable took out into garden
